All About Me

This is gives us general information about your child’s needs, likes, dislikes, favourite toys and activities etc. This will help the key-person and the nursery to ensure that based on the information they have on your child, appropriate routines can be established for them to meet all round care.

Settling in Report

Completed within the first four weeks, this report helps us understand how your child is adjusting and ensures they feel safe, comfortable, and supported.

Wow Tree

Our “Wow Tree” allows parents/carers to share special moments—like first steps or new achievements—so we can celebrate progress and plan meaningful activities.

Learning Through Play

We observe your child daily as they explore and learn through play, using these observations to plan activities that build on their interests and support their development.

The Early Years Foundation Stage

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which sets the standards that all early years providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe. It provides us guidelines on promoting teaching and learning to ensure your child’s ‘school readiness’ and also provide a broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the right foundation for good future progress through school and life.

The Progress Check at 2

The Progress Check at 2 provides parents with a short summary of their child’s development across the three prime areas between 24–36 months. It is completed by the key person using ongoing observations, along with input from parents and other professionals.
